Protesters Block Immigration Enforcement Van in Glasgow Community 'Celebrating Eid'

An immigration-enforcement operation drew a crowd of protesters in Glasgow on May 13, with hundreds of people surrounding a UK Border Agency van, according to local media and videos from the scene.

Police were seen surrounding the van, on Kenmure Street, as the crowd chanted “These are our neighbors, let them go!”

Chris Bainbridge, who recorded this video at the scene, said the Home Office was “trying to deport two innocent people.”
