Protest March Through Hollywood Met With Heavy Police and Military Presence

Protesters marching in Los Angeles were met with heavy police and military presence on June 2 after more than a week of civil unrest following the police-involved death of George Floyd.

Police and members of the National Guard were reportedly guarding many of the California city’s main streets on Tuesday. Local media said at least several hundred protesters participated in the march.

The first of these videos, posted to Twitter, shows officers and personnel in military fatigues gathered near the intersection of Sunset Blvd and Vine St in Hollywood.
