Police Release CCTV Footage of Audacious Ram Raid in Northumbria
Northumbria Police released surveillance footage of an early morning ram raid at the Forum Shopping Centre in Wallsend, United Kingdom, on January 29, in which thieves forced their way into the mall to steal electronics.
CCTV footage shows a black car wheeling through the mall before stopping outside an O2 shop. The thieves then force their way into the shop’s back room and pile merchandise into a sack before making their getaway.
In a statement, police said the car visible in the video was used to break through the front doors of the center.
