Police Move to Remove Extinction Rebellion Protesters From Parliament Square in London

London’s Metropolitan Police said 831 people had been arrested as of Sunday morning, April 21, during the ongoing Extinction Rebellion protests in the city.

On Sunday afternoon, Extinction Rebellion urged protesters to “hold on” to protest locations at Parliament Square and Waterloo Bridge as police moved in to disperse demonstrators.
