Philadelphia Woman Plays One-on-One With Local Officer During Protests

A woman and her friends brought a basketball hoop to downtown Philadelphia on June 2 to play some pickup during anti-racism protests that had spread throughout the city.

This footage was taken by Robert Moran, a reporter with the Philadelphia Inquirer, who came upon Stephania Ergemlidze playing one-on-one with a local police officer near City Hall. According to reports, Ergemlidze was joined by Khalil Gardner, who dragged the hoop through central Philadelphia “to get people to play to break the tension.”
