People Rush for Cover as Earthquake Rocks Davao City in the Philippines

A 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit the Philippines Island of Mindanao on December 15. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported a number of aftershocks in Davao del Sur province.

The quake’s epicenter was about 80 km south of Davao City, the USGS reported.
