Omaha Police Release CCTV of Attempted Kidnapping

Police in Omaha, Nebraska, are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an attempted kidnapping on Sunday, January 12.

According to police, officers responded to reports of a disturbance near 32nd Street and Woolworth Avenue at 5:36 pm.

Officers spoke to a 23-year-old woman who said she’d been jogging when approached by a man who attempted to push her into a vehicle

CCTV released by the Omaha Police Department shows the woman running along Hanscom Dog Park when a car pulls up beside her. The clip shows one suspect get out of the front seat and attempt to put her in the car.

The woman managed to escape and call for help but was followed down the street by the car before it fled the scene.
