Heavy rainfall in Tahiti, French Polynesia, led to flooding on Thursday, December 7, according to local reports.

More than 250 houses were flooded due to the heavy rainfall, according to local reports.

This footage by Tama Hine shows the flooded conditions in Tahiti on Thursday.

All educational establishments, including the University of French Polynesia, were to be closed on Friday, December 8, local reports said.
