Minnesota State Patrol Responds to Minneapolis Unrest

The Minnesota State Patrol said on May 28 that it had sent in officers to support local law enforcement and “keep people safe” in Minneapolis and Saint Paul as civil unrest continued following the police killing of George Floyd.

This video shows Minnesota State Patrol troopers lined up in Minneapolis on Thursday evening as protesters chant “Say his name” and “George Floyd.”

Protests across Saint Paul and Minneapolis resulted in burned buildings, looted stores, and the evacuation of the city’s 3rd police precinct.
