Man Kayaks Through Flooded Backyard in Queensland, as Dogs Happily Swim Alongside
Parts of Mackay, Queensland, were flooded on Monday, February 24, after at least 180 mm of rain fell on the area overnight.
This footage, filmed by local woman Jordan McQueen, shows her partner, Ben McQueen, kayaking through their backyard in North Mackay, on Monday morning as his dogs happily chase him through the water.
The floodwater partially submerged the property, swallowing up half of a six-foot-high fence and reaching well above the wheels of the couple’s four-wheel drive.
