Several University of Louisville football players came to the rescue of a crash that occurred near their team’s stadium on September 18, police said.
Footage posted to X, formerly Twitter, by Louisville Metro Police showed players and bystanders helping at the site of the crash on a busy intersection on Monday afternoon.
According to the post, several football players and other motorists helped flip the car on its right side prior to the arrival of first responders. The driver in the accident sustained minor injuries but was expected to recover, police added.
