Londoners Show Appreciation for NHS Workers in 'Clap For Our Carers' Tribute

London residents took to windows, balconies, and front doors to applaud the work of National Health Service (NHS) staff on the front lines of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, fight on Thursday, April 2.

Plans for a nationwide ‘Clap for our Carers’ tribute at 8 pm circulated on social media after similar tributes were held the previous week.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan encouraged Londoners to use the hashtag #ClapForOurCarers when sharing vides of the tribute to “our brilliant frontline workers and NHS staff.”
