London Streets Crowded as UK Pubs Reopen on 'Super Saturday'

Streets in Soho, London, were crowded as pubs, bars and restaurants were allowed to reopen with social distancing measures on July 4.

In what was dubbed Super Saturday, pubs, bars, restaurants, theme parks, aquariums, arcades, hairdressers, cinemas, theatres, churches, hotels, and campsites reopened with social distancing recommended.

John Apter, a police officer working in Southampton on that date said it was “crystal clear” that drunk people were unable to socially distance.
