Little Girls Thrilled Over Rain at Drought-Ravaged Property in Queensland

Storms brought much-needed rain to drought-stricken areas in Queensland, on January 16, the Bureau of Meteorology reported.

This footage shows two little girls celebrating the downpour: laughing, squealing and cartwheeling on the lawn at a property in Cawarral, in the shire of Livingstone.

“This was the first decent rainfall we have had since January 2019,” the girl’s mother Meg Payton-Dakotah Size told Storyful, adding that their property received 55 mm.
