Parts of southwest and central North Dakota braced for wind and snow on Friday, December 8, as the National Weather Service (NWS) warned of “significant” reduction in visibility on roads.

A winter weather advisory was in effect for Bowman until Saturday morning, with the NWS warning of blowing snow and wind gusts as high as 55 mph.
