Jogger Visits Secluded 'Green Sand' Beach in Hawaii

A jogger visited the secluded Papakolea Beach in Hawaii, famous for its green-colored sand, and filmed drone footage of the area, sharing it to YouTube on May 2.

The green color of the sand, according to Hawaii-Guide.com, is caused by the presence of olivine, a “semi-precious” green mineral.

The footage was captured by vlogger Kawika Singson, who regularly posts footage showing some of the natural wonders seen around Hawaii’s landscape, and off its shores. Credit: Kawika Singson via Storyful
