Joe Biden Pays Respects to Justice Ginsburg at US Capitol

Joe Biden paid his respects to the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg at the United States Capitol on Friday, September 25.

The event marked the first time for a woman to lie in state at the Capitol. Ginsburg lay in repose at the Supreme Court on Wednesday and Thursday.

Biden and running mate Kamala Harris, along with several other politicians, were attending a memorial service at the Capitol on Friday, The Washington Post said.

This footage, posted by Instagram user Jason Jones, shows Biden and his wife, Jill, walking into the National Statuary Hall at the Capitol and stopping at Ginsburg’s coffin.
