A cancer patient married his partner while lying in a hospital bed in Worcester, England, on August 3, after learning the week before that he was terminally ill.
Malcolm and Maureen, who’d been engaged for 10 years, tied the knot in a ceremony arranged by staff at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Malcolm had been admitted a week prior, experiencing chest pain. Scans later revealed he had cancer.
In the footage, Maureen can be seen seated by his bed as the wedding is conducted. Hospital staff look on, and are seen throwing confetti as the wedding concludes. The hospital said: “This might be the saddest but most moving thing you watch today.” Credit: Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust via Storyful
