Hong Kong Police Raid Apple Daily News Offices, Citing National Security Law

The offices of Hong Kong’s Apple Daily were raided by Hong Kong police on August 10 as the news agency’s founder and pro-democracy activist Jimmy Lai was reportedly arrested under new national security legislation.

Hong Kong Police said officers entered the building to investigate crimes allegedly committed in contravention of the laws.
