Hiker’s Trek Over Cradle Mountain Blocked by Wombat With an Itchy Behind
While trekking along Tasmania’s Cradle Mountain, Piotr Babis encountered an obstacle.
As Babis attempted to descend a section of the mountain, his path was blocked by a wombat scratching itself against a step.
Babis posted the video to Instagram on May 12. The itchy wombat did stop scratching itself when it heard Babis approach, but the hiker’s polite request for the marsupial to vacate from the pathway was less successful. Credit: Piotr Babis via Storyful
