High Winds and Near Whiteout Conditions Hit Vermont
Northwestern Connecticut, eastern New York and southern Vermont received hazardous weather on Wednesday, February 28.
Footage recorded in Readsboro, Vermont, by X user @VermonsterWx shows snowy landscapes and reduced visibility. Wind can be heard in the background of the video.
The National Weather Service (NWS) reported that wind gusts could reach up to 50 mph in the area and asked poeple to “seek shelter in a sturdy structure.”
