High-Speed Train Transports Coronavirus Patients to Rennes for Hospital Care

Patients with COVID-19 were transported from Paris to Rennes on a high-speed TGV train on April 1 to receive hospital treatment.

The SNCF, France’s national railway company, confirmed on March 26 via Twitter that they were assisting medical authorities with the transportation of patients.

According to local news reports, the train was met with applause from residents as it arrived in Rennes.

The Rennes University Hospital confirmed on their website that they took 12 patients who were on the train into their care.
