Hail and Strong Winds Lash Montana During Thunderstorm
Severe thunderstorms rolled through Great Falls, Montana, on Sunday, July 14, bringing hail and strong winds, local media reported.
This video shows hail pelting the backyard of a home in Great Falls as strong winds lash trees. The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning on Sunday, predicting quarter-sized hail and winds up to 70 mph.
Sarah Peters, who posted the video on Facebook, said the roar of the storm was “deafening” and that it “annihilated” her plants and fence.
