George Floyd's Brother Leads Brooklyn Memorial Service

A crowd gathered at Cadman Park Plaza in Brooklyn, New York, for a memorial service to honor George Floyd on Thursday, June 4, local media reported.

Floyd died after a Minneapolis Police Department officer kneeled on his neck for more than eight minutes while he was being arrested on May 25.

Floyd’s younger brother Terrence lives in Brooklyn and attended the gathering, according to reports. Terrence Floyd was set to lead the protesters across the Brooklyn Bridge after addressing the crowd at Cadman Plaza.
