Frozen Tree Limbs Snap Following Ice Storm in Stillwater, Oklahoma

An ice storm downed trees and cut power to thousands in central Oklahoma on Tuesday, October 27, according to local media.

Oklahoma Gas and Electric said 201,000 customers were without power as of 12.30 pm on Tuesday. The electric company said outages were primarily caused by ice accumulations snapping tree limbs and then damaging nearby power lines.
