Frankfurt Soccer Fans Pack Salzburg Ice Hockey Arena After Europa League Game Postponed

Eintracht Frankfurt fans who traveled to Salzburg, Austria, for a return leg Europa League game on February 27 focused their attention on a local ice hockey clash after the soccer game was postponed due to a storm warning.

Over 400 Eintracht fans headed to the Eisarena Salzburg to cheer on visiting hockey outfit EC-KAC as they took on hosts EC Red Bull Salzburg II.

Footage posted to Twitter shows Eintracht fans waving flags in the Eisarena Salzburg.

The visiting side appeared spurred on by their newfound support, as they defeated EC Red Bull Salzburg II 4-3 after a penalty shootout. Footage posted to YouTube by EC-KAC shows players celebrating with Frankfurt fans after the game ended.
