Fourth of July Fireworks Light up Night Sky in Oakland
Oakland’s sky lit up with fireworks for hours on the evening of July 4, despite efforts by authorities to crack down on illegal incendiaries that have caused brush fires in the area.
Like those in many American cities, Oakland residents have experienced fireworks at all hours of the night since this summer.
On July 4, thrill seekers shot a steady stream of them into the sky, causing mid-air explosions seen throughout the Bay Area.
