Firefighters Rescue Blind Horse From River in Bristol, England

Local firefighters rescued a blind 28-year-old horse from the River Frome near Bristol, England, on Tuesday, February 23, footage released by the Bedminster Fire Station shows.

On Tuesday morning, emergency crews were called to the scene between the villages of Frampton Cotterell and Iron Acton, according to local news reports.

Video released by the fire station shows a crew leading Bruno the horse out of the water with a rope. “Water rescue virtuoso rescued a rather soggy Bruno from a small weir in North #Bristol today,” the station wrote in a tweet. “Despite being blind and old (28), Bruno was safely helped back to terra firma.” Credit: Bedminster Fire Station via Storyful
