Firefighters Work to Contain Creek Fire in California

Firefighters in California’s Sierra National Forest conducted back-burning operations to contain the 291,000-acre Creek Fire on the evening of September 24.

Video of the burnout shows firefighters surveying the fire line, while a man identified as John Kennedy, the Operations Section Chief of the National Incident Management Team #1, narrates the scene.

“Fire’s consuming really well, we’re getting some good depth … getting ready to bring some more fire down the road,” Kennedy says in the video.
