Fire Department Salutes South Florida Hospital Workers With Signs, Horns, and Applause

Firefighters in Plantation, Florida – about 25 miles north of Miami – saluted local health care workers battling the coronavirus with signs, horns, and applause on Tuesday, April 7.

This footage shows an array of firefighters and firefighting vehicles outside of Westside Regional Medical Center.

“We just wanted to take a few minutes through all of this to thank them for everything they’ve done, not just for the city, but for us as well,” Plantation Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Joel Gordon told local media.
