Fearless Ducks Have a 'Quack' at Record-Breaking Montana Snow

Farm ducks living in Frenchtown, Montana, were unfazed after nearly a foot of snow fell across the region on Saturday, October 24, their owner said.

The National Weather Service (NWS) tweeted the historic late October snowfall was a record-breaker for the state. As of Saturday afternoon, some regions in Montana had received 18 inches of snow in the storm.

As of 11 am local time Saturday, the NWS reported the snow had ended, but “frigid arctic air spills” and record-breaking cold were expected through the weekend, with some locations going sub-zero. Credit: Brandy Hilderbrand via Storyful
