Farmer in Devon, England, Mows Tribute to Coronavirus-Stressed Health Care Workers on Field

A farmer in Devon, England, mowed a tribute to the UK’s National Health Service into a field on March 30 to show his appreciation for the NHS staff dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.

According to local media, the video shows Matthew Alford writing a giant #NHS in greenery at Great Hele Farm in South Molton.

Barnaby Newell captured the video using his drone while his friend spelled out the message on the grass.

Barnaby told Storyful he wanted to take a moment to thank NHS staff who are under a lot of pressure.

“We wanted to do our little bit and show some appreciation to all of those working in the NHS and to let these amazing people know that the country is behind them,” said Barnaby. Credit: Barnaby Newell via Storyful
