Drone Footage Shows Destruction in Bear, Delaware, After Tropical Storm Isaias

Tropical Storm Isaias caused significant damage in Bear, Delaware, and spawned at least six tornadoes across the northeast on Tuesday, August 4, according to the National Weather Service.

Drone footage taken above Bear shows the storm’s aftermath, with sides of houses ripped off, trees uprooted, and debris flung across lawns.

Local news reported wind gusts up to 70 miles an hour.

Tornadoes were recorded in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The weather service said it recorded four to seven inches of rain throughout the region, causing “severe” flash flooding and “significant” river flooding. Credit: Skyview via Storyful
