Downed Tree Blocks Queens Street as Tropical Storm Isaias Batters New York

More than 2,000 trees were uprooted across New York City as Tropical Storm Isaias battered the tri-state area on August 4, reports citing Mayor Bill de Blasio said.

This footage, shared by Evie Hantzopoulos, shows a large tree blocking 33rd Street in Astoria.

One man was killed by a falling tree in Queens, local reports said.
