Domino's Pizza Offers $4,000 Reward for Information After Attack on Delivery Driver

A Dominos delivery driver in Jackson, Mississippi, said he was attacked and robbed on December 14 while delivering pizza.

Joseph Jacobs sought help in a Chinese restaurant in Jackson, according to a video shared by Dee Holt, a local resident.

In the video, Jacobs explains to people in the restaurant that he had been attacked and appears emotional as he recounts the experience. He’s also seen using the restaurant’s phone to call for help.

Holt, who shared the video on Twitter, said Jacobs was robbed of his phone, money, and car while on duty. He said Jacobs went to hospital in an ambulance after he suffered broken teeth and bruises as a result of the incident.

On December 15, Holt shared screenshots of Facebook messages from Jacobs in which he said he was out of the hospital and doing well. Jacobs also wrote that Dominos had ensured his medical expenses would be covered.

A spokesman for Dominos said it was offering a $4,000 dollar reward for anyone who can provide information that leads to the capture and conviction of those involved in this attack.

“Once notified of the robbery our management team immediately went to the scene of the incident and assisted our team member and the police,” he said. “We have been in continuous contact with our team member and will continually support him throughout his recovery.” Credit: Dee Holt via Storyful
