Demonstrators Block Major Los Angeles Highway in Protests After George Floyd Death

Protesters rallying following the death of George Floyd took to the streets in Los Angeles on May 27, shutting down a major highway and burning an American flag during the demonstrations.

This video shows protesters, many of whom are holding hands, blocking the 101 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles. A line of cars can be seen waiting in front of them.

The protests followed demonstrations in Minneapolis that resulted in violent confrontations between police and activists.
