Delays as Car Bursts Into Flames on Motorway South of London
There were long tailbacks during rush hour on the M3 southwest of London on January 21 after a car burst into flames on the road.
The incident happened at around 7:25 am between junctions 2 and 3 of the M3.
Surrey Police tweeted: “Please be aware that we are dealing with a car fire between junction 2&3 and the southbound carriageway is completely closed, and will be for the next few hours. The Northbound carriageway is open, but expect delays.”
