Delaware Republican Group Says Footage Shows Trump 2020 Sign Being Vandalized

A number of campaign signs for US President Donald Trump were vandalized along Route 1 near Dover, Delaware, according to a Republican group. The Delaware Young Republicans told Storyful a sign was recorded being damaged early on September 28.

Footage posted by the group shows a person using a tool to dislodge the sign from its posts. A photo posted later shows a destroyed sign.

In an email to Storyful, the Delaware Young Republicans said the sign in the video, near mile marker 66 on Route 1 outside of Dover, was destroyed at 1.20 am. “Police reports have been filed. Nearly 75 signs have been stolen or vandalized,” the email said. According to a Facebook post by the group, the signs were destroyed “in less than one week.” Credit: Delaware Young Republicans via Storyful
