Crowd Welcomes Navy Hospital Ship to New York City Amid Coronavirus Pandemic
A crowd observed social distancing rules while watching the USNS Comfort hospital ship arrive in New York City to provide extra medical support during the coronavirus pandemic.
The ship was sent to New York City on March 28 to provide care to patients from March 31 and ease pressure on local hospitals.
There were 66,497 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the state of New York on March 30, of which 37,453
