Countdown Excitement at Nottingham IKEA as Store Reopens for First Time Since Lockdown

Shoppers in Nottingham, England, lined up outside an IKEA store from early in the morning on June 1 as the furniture giant reopened for the first time since the coronavirus lockdown in the country at the end of March.

Video shows socially distanced shoppers join in on a countdown as the store opened its doors.

Nottinghamshire Live reported that the reopening resulted in “massive” lines, saying the “queue of people waiting to get into the store was snaking back to Nando’s and looped round at Giltbrook Retail Park.”
