Climate Protesters Spray Black Liquid on Hoardings Covering Big Ben Tower

Climate protesters in London sprayed a black liquid, intended to resemble crude oil, onto a construction barrier surrounding the clock tower which houses Big Ben on February 26.

A report by LBC said the liquid was a “sort of biodegradable syrup.”

The protesters were from Extinction Rebellion UK and Christian Climate Action, Extinction Rebellion said on Facebook.

Protesters could be seen at the London landmark holding banners reading “time is running out – something will have to change.”
