CCTV Footage Captures Early Morning Houston Explosion

At least one person was taken to hospital after a building exploded in northwest Houston, Texas, in the early hours of January 24. The blast rattled home across sections of the city, according to local media.

“Debris field out here is about half a mile,” Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo tweeted.

Authorities said the building was located at Watson Grinding at 4500 Gessner Road. During a press morning conference, Houston Fire Department Chief Sam Pena said polypropylene was released during the explosion.
