Cat's Disappearing Act Upstages Dean of Canterbury During Online Sermon

Canterbury Cathedral’s resident black cat Leo performed an incredible disappearing act recently when he vanished into the Dean of Canterbury’s robes during an online sermon.

Dean Robert Willis was recording a sermon on the grounds of the cathedral on May 13 when the intrepid cat wandered between the folds of his robe.

In the video, Willis manages to keep a straight face as the cat steals the show.

Speaking to ITV, a representative from Canterbury Cathedral said that while Leo is “undoubtedly the comedian” of the Deanery’s four cats, he nonetheless takes his role as an ambassador “very seriously”. Credit: Canterbury Cathedral via Storyful
