Calf on the Mooove in Phoenix Suburb Captured by Police After 4-Mile Chase

A young cow that made a break for it eluded police in the suburban Phoenix community of Goodyear, Arizona, for at least four miles on August 5 before jumping into a canal, where it was roped by an officer.

The Goodyear Police Department said after receiving initial calls of the calf on the loose, officers chased it for four miles before it jumped into the canal. An officer was able to capture the animal without “going swimming himself,” police said. Credit: Scout Fejes via Storyful
