Bushfire Smoke Chokes Road Near Armidale, New South Wales

Thick smoke from nearby bushfires blanketed the Waterfall Way, east of Armidale, New South Wales, on December 8.

The Bureau of Meteorology predicted that “smoky” conditions in the Armidale area would last until at least Tuesday, December 10.
