A building on a commercial street in Gaza City was seen reduced to rubble on the morning of May 13 amid continued strikes by the Israeli military in response to rocket attacks.

Gaza health officials said on May 13 that 83 people had died in the Israeli strikes. Seven deaths were reported in Israel, with the Israel Defense Forces saying more than 1,100 rockets had been fired from Gaza over a three-day period. Credit: Mohamed Abo oun via Storyful
