Surfers were making the most of huge waves off Sydney amid a hazard warning on July 15, with video showing one boarder take a tumble.
This footage, posted to Instagram by the user Mosman Jogger, shows surfers catching a wave as it swells off the coast of Shelly Headland near Manly Beach. One of them falls from the crest of one big wave.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued a warning for July 15 and 16 for multiple coastal areas, including Sydney.
Police said “people should consider staying out of the water and avoid walking near surf-exposed areas,” according to the bureau’s website.
