Barcelona Highway Blocked by Workers Protesting Nissan Plant Closure
Workers blocked roads around a Nissan plant in Barcelona, Spain, on May 28, after the Japanese carmaker announced it will close the factory in December.
The Spanish Government has urged Nissan to consider other options to closing the plant, which El Pais reported has approximately 3,000 employees, with at least 17,000 other jobs relying indirectly on the plant.
