Anti-Tory Protesters and Police Scuffle Outside Downing Street

A group of anti-Tory protesters pushed against a police line outside Downing Street on the evening of Friday, December 13, after hundreds marched through central London following the Conservative Party’s landslide election win December 12.

This footage shows marchers chanting “Tory scum off our streets” and “not my prime minister,” before scuffles break out next to the Cenotaph war memorial on Whitehall. As protesters, one of whom is carrying an Antifa (Antifascist Action) flag, push against a police line, an officer is seen falling to the ground.

A Met Police spokesperson told Storyful police were facilitating various protests in the area, but said no arrests were made. Credit: Gareth Milner via Storyful
