Air Force Transport Plane Arrives Back in Spain With Medical Equipment From China

A Spanish Air Force transport plane arrived back at Torrejon Air Base in Madrid on March 30 carrying 14 tonnes of medical and personal protective equipment that it had picked up in Shanghai.

The air force said the Airbus A400M plane departed Saturday, March 28, on a mission that involved 33 hours of flying and three stopovers.

El Pais reported that the airline Iberia would also be involved in transporting medical equipment from China. Three of its Airbus A350s were scheduled to arrive in Madrid on March 30, March 31 and April 1, with a total of 90 tonnes of material, it said.
